How the discount calculation works
A discount reduces the original price by a specified percentage. The calculator first finds the discount amount and then subtracts it from the original price to determine the final sale price.
Discount formula
Discount = Original Price × Discount % ÷ 100
Final Price = Original Price − Discount
Final Price = Original Price − Discount
Example
If a product costs SAR 1,000 and has a 20% discount, the discount amount is SAR 200. The final price after the discount is SAR 800.
Discount percentage example
For a SAR 500 product with a 10% discount, the saving is SAR 50 and the final price is SAR 450.
